Fruits of Labor-Literally

Here is a picture of when we were berry picking. Libby and Jake have so much fun and then we sit and have a picnic lunch and eat the yummy berries.

Birthday Boys!

My Newbies aren't really newbies anymore (Not sure if I'll call them something different since Libby refers to them as the newbies too.). They are now ONE! That means we've made it through their first year. It was really the hardest thing that Dave and I have ever done. We are looking forward to it getting easier at some point. But we have many fun memories of laughing, crying, and even being confused! These kids are our life. They are what drive us to want to live life to the fullest and no matter how hard raising children seems we just have to go on. We have to learn to have all 4 by ourselves and not sweat the small stuff. Our family came over to help us celebrate their 1st birthday and it was fun. Of course they are too small to know it was their birthday but we celebrated that WE made it through the first year.

Busy Summer

We have been VERY busy around here. I hardly ever take my camera anywhere we go. Although we've been to the Zoo, Children's Museum, the Farm, berry picking, to the pool and to many different parks many, many times this summer; I haven't taken any pictures. I promise to work on that since I know a lot of you follow this blog. Libby got a 12 inch Princess bike a few weeks ago. Jake has gotten better on his little bike. Since Libby doesn't know how to ride ANY bike yet, Jake has been riding Libby's Princess bike. So we ended up getting his cousin's brand new hand-me-down bike. When he saw it last night, he said, "Wow! That's my bike!" and rode it for hours in the school's parking lot. He was such a good and natural rider that I had to carry him inside kicking and screaming at 9pm.
